NaturalBeam....you are fighting a losing battle here
They only beat 3 winning teams all year, yet want to compare schedules. Priceless.

Just curious is Bama fans are still buying the PSU was good, definitely better than West Virginia, bit that was being espoused around here throughout the season?
When we played PSU they were but then the molesting shite came out, but who cares? The schedule comparison might have made sense before Nov5. But WE'VE ALREADY PLAYED EACH OTHER. You won 9-6 in OT if you don't remember. What difference does it make to compare schedules? You're just guessing unless you compare same teams. And our stats in the SEC are better than LSU's, but who cares?

Irrelevant.

You don't think the relative strength of opponents is relevant to which team has the better resume?
Posted on 1/5/12 at 11:02 am to Dribble
So what factors do matter now when comparing resumes if opponent strength does not?
I'd say that too if my team only beat 3 winning teams

Sure - but I think the point of the thread was that a few weeks ago, Bama fans were trying to prop themselves up by saying how much better Penn State was than WVU.
Penn State was better than West Virginia, or at least was better during the season, before the Sandusky scandal. Neither team had beaten anyone really good, but West Virginia had lost at Syracuse by 26 and to Louisville at home. Penn State lost to Bama by 16 and Nebraska by 3 when the story broke.
Not that either matters. LSU beating Oregon is much more relevant, but when you're #1 and #2 AND have already played each other, no other game during the season matters. You almost have to assume that Bama and LSU would have beaten every other team in the country.

Since this shite is important to you go compare the teams we both played. Here, I'll make it easy for you. The only difference in this data is that you played UK and we played Vandy which is about equal, imo. Doesn't include SECCG.

You are talking to people who have a sincerely held belief that, though LSU had 9 points and Bama had 6, LSU lost. So of course, they would all pretend like they never cared about how good PSU was. To the fool who brought up WVU losing to the cuse. Did you not just see PSU get sandblasted by Houston. Houston!
I've said all along and stand by the statement that Bama did not respect the result of the first game and I have no reason to believe that they will respect the result of the second one. LSU could win by 50 and the moral victories of Mount Cody nation will ring out over all corners of the internet. Because all of this is a competition in which the outcome is already determined, LSU can never win. Bama fans will move the target, point to irrelevant markers in the past, and distort what is being said using words like "irrelevant," "scared," or whatever the new buzz word is that they all repeat.
So fight on, brotha. Do Paul M. Hebert proud.

Why r u comparing resumes? Who cares at this point?

Interesting you don't include Oregon, WVA, or UGA...
Once again, I don't really care. We know our resume is better. Y'all know our resume is better. We're just passing time til Monday

What do resumes matter at this point?
Let pretend for a moment....
LSU is the best team ever and Bama is a shitty team. Care to guess what happens if a shitty Bama team with a shitty resume beats LSU in a few days?
They win the BCS championship. (and that is all that matters now)
Unless you guys are trying to setup some "moral victory" foundation, then resumes don't matter at all now.
