I have a bad case of battered aggie syndrome so I am being cautiously optimistic but won't be surprised if he doesn't win it. On a separate note espn needs to change their name to Notre ESPN Dame

Good luck to JFF. Seemed like a nice guy when I met him. Congrats to Ags.

He's by far the best player in the country this year....If he doesn't win..I think the SEC should start a riot.

1. Sinkwich - Georgia ('42)
2. Cannon - LSU ('59)
3. Spurrier - Florida ('66)
4. Sullivan - Auburn ('71)
5. Walker - Georgia ('82)
6. Jackson - Auburn ('85)
7. Wuerffel - Florida ('96)
8. Tebow - Florida ('07)
9. Ingram - Alabama ('09)
10. Newton - Auburn ('10)

He's right. Manziel would be #11. 1+1=2 so that would make sense.

I just don't understand how they come up with invitees. Lee from USC was phenominal as was Manziel.

Will be nice to see a legit Heisman winner instead of a good but overhyped Notre Dame player.

I agree. T'eo is a very good LB, but his accomplishments are really dwarfed by JFF.

By the number of votes they get on the Heisman ballots. A voter is free to vote for any player for any NCAA team (including FCS and Div II and III) that is enrolled in school.

See here for a list of 180 of the voters who have publically said how they voted. Now, as to who they vote to New York, its got to be some method where 3 and 4 aren't even close so they only invited the top 3.

I've got mason jars lined up around my living room for tomorrow night - wife, kids and company be damned! If he wins, I'll fill them up. Lose and I'm putting Teo picures on them and getting work in with my 9mm.
