I freaking love Spurrier. Imagine what he would be doing at an Alabama, LSU, or hell even Florida still.

Eh, probably more of statement about how average the SEC was then. He never could win at Tallahassee.

That is amazing. It's also amazing that he somehow never had an undefeated season.

Spurrier was p!ssed when he was interviewing for the job in Baton Rouge and he saw another coach-who got the job over him-wading through Ruth's Chris Steak House here iN Baton Rouge and working the crowd.

Worst mistake this program made...along with Hudson Hallman.

So in twelve years at Florida, Spurrier had three 11+ win seasons. In 8 seasons with South Carolina he has two 11 win seasons...so he's right on pace, right? Well, except for the Championships at least.

On a postseason ban in 90 for something that happened before he got there.
It's Pell's fault that we don't have 11 SEC titles...

Well we beat everyone we played during the 96 season, does that count?

"You can't spell citrus without UT"

In 2011, after beating UK 54-3 where UK crossed midfield once in the entire game, he said in the post game press conference that "UK has a heck of a punter". Classic Spurrier..
