No shite. It's called objectivism. At least our fanbase doesn't 100% think our DC is going to be elite. That would be delusional.

I'm aware
the point is that LSU has fielded good-great defenses for a long time. Before and during Chavis' tenure. Hell, 2003ish-2007 were some of the best defenses I've seen at LSU.
#1 is obviously 2011.

Yeah, I don't and neither do most rational fans. If Cam Cameron is worth his salary, Steele doesn't need to be an upgrade anyways.
I think most are just elated at the 2016 recruiting class and the HUGE upgrade at DL with Ed O.
Chavis was a really good dc, not sure why a handful of fans say otherwise.
