Why don't people just start filing permits around town and claim all the good areas for their own "demonstartions" no one actually has to show up just keep filing permits and make it to where they can't get one.

Really the best way to deal with WBC is to ignore them. They can't do anything without an audience. As sick and twisted as those worthless pieces of shite are, all they are doing is talking. If UA simply avoids them and pay them no attention, they will look pretty dumb yelling at nobody. They will leave when they realize they don't have an audience.
ETA: Whoever compared this is segregation and the Boston Tea Party is not too bright. These are people protesting, not oppressing an entire population of people.......not that what they are doing is right. They can all rot for all I care.

Anyone from UA remember "Brother Micah"? I actually think he visited a few SEC campuses, but I wonder if he had any permission to preach that everyone was going to hell, and all the females were whores.

He came to Auburn quite a bit. he got kicked off campus for grabing a sorority girl, when he told her she was a whore and going to hell
He then resorted to seting up a podium in the back of a truck parked near toomers coner for some of the gamedays

lol all they want is attention. why people give a shite about a group of 8 people is beyond me. if people would just ignore them they'd go away. instead people organize counter protests drawing press and cameras giving westboro exactly what they want.

They protest on street corners in Topeka all the time. People go about their business and don't honk at them or engage them. They then go home and we all go about our lives.
The whole Phelps problem is partly the fault of NE Kansas because everyone here started ignoring them and they went national to get a reaction.

Ha, dude had cajones. I remember him only preaching solo.
One day I saw him verbally rip apart an unsuspecting girl just walking by. She had no idea who he was, or why he was there, just that he was condeming her to hell because of her "whore shorts" in front of a large group of people. Poor girl lost it.
