The number of threads started on tRant and here since the game by LSU folks regarding Refgate, FBI investigations about Bama-tilted corruption in the SEC, etc., should give you an idea how serious the vast majority of your fanbase takes football.
Hell, a LSU guy was bragging on here about telling a 6 year old Bama fan to frick off after the game...just to leave an emotional scar on the kid.

Which is why it probably didn't happen. Death threats over something that meaningless and obscure after a win in which Bama fans were the farthest emotion away from rage or anger makes zero sense. This has rival fan posing as Bama fan on twitter written all over it.
I saw a Bama fan talking to shite on Twitter to Aj McCarron's mom after they lost the Sugar Bowl last year. The mother of a QB who helped lead them to the previous 2 championships. Another Bama fan killed a fellow fan for 'not caring enough.' And then there's Harvey Updyke.
So yea, I'm going out on a limb and saying there are a few nutcases out there who sent him ridiculous threats on social media.
There are a small few deranged losers in every fanbase, no need to try and deny it.

I don't know man, Alabama has been kicking arse at home . Totally different team than on the road. I said from the start that LSU was going to be their toughest game this season. They will more than likely win out now. Problem is that they won't be playing at home in the playoffs
