It hasn't carried over here, but it's going strong on the TR. I guess it's just been a while since the last one.

It was apparently bad during the 3rd inning. But that was 4 hours ago and it's a pretty civil discussion about what should have occurred, next season, and things of that sort.

Of course you have a few crazies but that's nothing new for any of these boards.

Not gonna lie, I'm a hurtin' unit.

Not only am I heartbroken over what I consider a premature and unwarranted end to our baseball season, but I can't even resort to drowning my sorrows.

I'm recovering from emergency abdominal hernia surgery...so no alcohol allowed. I have good pain medication, naturally, but it's not the same.

Woe is me.

I will admit it's calmed down significantly since the last time I checked it (around the 8th). Some good threads still popping up though, like this one

(wrong link... still a fun thread)

Negative, no shame

Hope you get better though, my dad had hernia surgery a couple years ago and it took awhile for him to get back to full strength.

Only reasons I stayed were to see Ibarra finish off his career and see if Mainieri was going to let Nola throw a pitch or two in the bottom of the 8th.

Based on the number of people who apparently do this, and the amount of pictures taken from inside, I'm guessing there is literally zero security or attempt to keep people out?

During the day, no. There's usually a gate or two open and no one really cares if you're just in there taking pictures, etc.

Wouldn't try it at night but right now they are working 24/7 so there's enough commotion over there that someone wouldn't really be noticed waking around.

Thanks! I usually heal fast, but then this is only my second surgery ever. And the first was just Endoscopic surgery to enlarge the openings leading from my sinuses to my nasal passages.

So I've never been cut open before. The worst thing is, I got it helping a friend move...it's true what they say...no good deed goes unpunished.

They actually keep it pretty secure. I saw that the gate wasn't all the way down on one of the exterior escalators and crawled underneath it.
