I get tired of the constant fashion show that college football is turning into thanks to Oregon and Nike.
I would think schools would be more interested in instant recognition and consistent branding rather than what kids think looks cool this week. Kids are a fickle bunch.

i just don't get them. So they're black and white American flags? If they're POW/MIA why isn't that flag on the uniform?

The Adidas release literally says they are to honor POWMIA and all veterans. It's a really kick arse design, not sure what you're missing.

Call me old fashioned, but I like my State uniforms maroon and white and my American flags red, white and blue. And I also don't see what is so "kick arse" about the design, it's like people haven't even noticed they brought back the awful, oversized, off-kilter hip logo.
