Possibly Jacob Billingsly and Cole Gordon. There is a chance that Denver McQueary may get a start he had an impressive start against Ole Miss in the Governor's cup game going 7 innings in the win against the Rebels.

Jacob Billingsly

1-1
4.65 ERA
35 Ks
22 BB
Looks like he must throw a lot of pitches to rack up that many Ks and walks in only 31 IP. Never thrown more than 5 IP with 7 starts under his belt.

Cole Gordon
2-1
5.58 ERA
35 Ks
18 BB
2 way players who hasn't thrown more than 4 IP in a game. He got shelled pretty good in his last 2 starts vs Aub & Bama.

Denver McQueary
1-1
3.86
25 Ks
26 BB
26 walks in only 30.1 IP is a red flag. It doesn't appear he did all that well in any of this 3 starts. He threw 112 pitches in 5-1/3 innings vs Ole Miss.

I haven't watched a ton of MSU games, but just looking at the #s none of those seem like great options.

Our only good starter is Pilkington. If yall win game 1 it could very well be an easy sweep.

Pilk, Price and Self are the only healthy pitchers worth a damn on our roster.

Could be anybody who pitches less than 5 innings in game 1.

I know it sounds like sandbagging , but Cann and Henderson really are doing it with smoke and mirrors. The Dogs could fall flat at any moment, or they could keep finding ways to win and shock the league. I love this team

The fact that state has won so many games with only three pitchers worth a damn is incredible.

Gordan is OK once through the order. After that; batting practice.

I take it you haven't heard about the 7 pitchers we have out for the season due to injuries.

One of them is a top draft prospect for 2018 another is leading the SEC in saves, and the third is 4-1 with 3 saves as a Freshman.

Also, the top of our lineup hitting wise 1-4 is as good as anybody in America. With Rooker up for SEC POY and possibly the triple crown.

I don't even think Pilkington is that good. He is inconsistent.

Seven? Try 9. 10 if you factor in Mangum not being able to pitch again. Ryan Cyr got booted off as well after starting the year as our Sunday guy. He would make 11. Would be easier listing who is available.

1)Hughes
2)Breaux
3)Padgett
4)Small
5)Smith
6)James
7)Marze
8)Rigby (possible return in post season, but I doubt it.)
9)Ashcroft
