But I would venture to guess the fallout from Petrino's departure is putting a damper on Arkansas fan interest.

it has. maybe it will be better by the time the season rolls around but I think I can speak for the whole fanbase when I say it was an epic punch to the gut. Surprisingly ticket sales and donations haven't suffered but I just think everyone is skeptical of John L's ability to lead this team.

Tyler seems to be filling in fine.

Thread title should read "State of Texas Dominates" and leave it at that. What don't we dominate?

It means the sheer numbers of TX viewers added to the already established fan bases of other SEC team = $$$ which in turn means more $ for all schools. SEC dominance

you can bet the SEC will bring the new web traffic up in Project X/SEC negotiations.

For sure.

As was our meltdown on 1/9.

People just have trouble moving on.

I had already put all my faith in the Mett-siah over a year ago so I had no trouble moving on once I realized I'd never, ever see Jefferson or Lee pull up under center ever again.

And I'm sure the saner Arky fans are vesting their hope in Knile Davis and Tyler Wilson instead of fretting too much about the coaching situation.

Life goes on...

Pretty sure Texas is going to win everything related to "number of ___ in the SEC" due to sheer numbers, not to mention high concentrations of LSU, Arkansas, Bama, etc grads also in TX cities. If it isn't a viewers per state population, it means nothing

Was Texas nearly as dark last year? Look, we suck at football right now, can you at least give us SOME credit for this?

congratulations. by the way, with 26 million residents, you'd pretty much have to add all of the sec states population up to beat that. i think arkansas and mississippi have about 2 mil. each, la has 4 with ga and tn weighing in at 6. kentucky and bama would have to be added to exceed (barely) your population. we don't even need florida.

That's my point, LSU GrandDad. The SEC is going to make a lot more money because of recent additions. Mike Slive knew what the hell he was doing for TV Negotiations and the SEC Network.

However, Arkansas (11th) fans stayed on the #SECKickoff12 page for the longest duration, followed by Pennsylvania (22nd).

This is because people from Arkansas cant read and people from Pennsylvania were confused trying to find child porn on the deep web.

Most of the aggies watched news on 12th man tv (aggie athletics), or texags. I have the SEC digital network on my phone, but watched all the interviews on the other two sites.

You mean print money? Can you say TV contract re-negotiations?
