State fans, what can you tell us about Angelo Mirando?

He was your WR coach and left 12 days before the start of the 2012 for "personal reasons."
He is now the OC at Coffeyville Community College.
There is a rumor going around that Alabama may be interested in him if Kiffin were to leave.
What's the deal with him?

He took the fall and was let go for the Will Redmond investigation.

NCAA issues, saw him out at the bars a lot though so he and Freshwater would probably be a killer duo.

He left because he was implicated in the Will Redmond fiasco -- where Will lost about 1.5 seasons of eligibility for getting about a 2k discount for a used car. This is nothing compared to what the auburn "it's an ongoing investigation" bagmen were doing.
This was only escalated because our idiot compliance office reported it and then didn't protest the penalty.
That being said, the snitch was a 7on7 coach who wanted a cut of money -- so may not have been the best source (hence msu should have protested/appealed).
As a coach, he is young and was doing a good job with WRs. He knows the Myer/Mullen system pretty well (at least back then) and seemed like a smart up and coming coach.
He followed Mullen from Florida (as a GA) iirc, and was a GA for a few years before being a WR coach for a year.
Ps. Let's keep laughing at this year's auburn as well. Dear Auburn, preseason first-to-worst!

shite. I edited, but I had never heard of the guy until I read the thread about him on BOL. The OP posted his name as Mirandi.
