a few dozen = a huge chunk?

Wow, now you're proving that I'm smarter than you too.

YOU made this thread about you. Idiot OP is trolling and you are dumb enough to jump in with both feet.

This thread isn’t about OP or me. It’s about a huge chunk of your lowlife fan base pretending they’re better than Stingray.

This thread had slight potential in my head but you've taken it to new heights.

Same way political exit polls work. It’s a general consensus among individuals who belong to a certain group or demographic. If there are a few dozen MSU fans in that one thread talking shite about this guy, it’s safe to assume the majority of the fanbase feels similarly, correct? I mean, OP provided a screen shot of a poll with almost 2,000 votes and 65% say they don’t want Stingray representing their school.

Clearly.

Well... it’s true. Both athletically and academically.

Any time you commit to a thread, it will go better than a drive by troll job. You have to give the people reading a reason to respond. Otherwise, it will die quickly. You’re welcome.

Personally I have more respect for Stingray after watching Tosh.O I thought he was a retard but he is just a normal guy! Whatever normal means now a days

Me too. I actually like the guy now. I too thought he was "special" but after the show, I see he actually just has a good sense of humor and can even laugh at himself. It takes a cool dude to be able to laugh at himself on national TV.

Not reading 3 pages of StingRay posts.

The title insinuates that MSU folk are not as supportive of StingRay, or that MSU fans were ever supportive of StingRay. What reasons does OP give for the sea change?

Bama fans and alumni have things to tie their pretentiousness to. Mississippi State has not won a single national championship in any NCAA sanctioned sport in their entire 120 year existence

This is why Alabama is the butt of so many jokes. Y’all tie one’s self worth to a fricking game. Lol

I tie my self worth to the two degrees I obtained from the University of Alabama, my job title, and my family. Alabama’s athletics success is just lagniappe.

It should also be noted that no joke delivered from the mouth of a Mississippi State fan or graduate towards an Alabama graduate will ever hold any weight.

So you have a master's degree and you don't recognize that it is possible that there are successful people that went to Mississippi State?

I have been involved in higher education for over half my life, as a student, professor or administrator.

The best undergraduate professor I had (at lowly MSU) went to Southern Illinois-Carbondale.
The best graduate professor (at lowly LSU) I had went to Stetson.
The most respected colleague and the smartest person I know went to Ole Miss.
My boss, who is one of the best people on this earth, went to tiny Division III Millsaps.

There is life outside of Tuscaloosa. You can GFY with this "I'm better than anyone that went to MSU because I went to and cheer for Alabama" crap.

Its pretty cool to see how Ole Miss had taken to their new obsessed little brother role with enthusiasm.
