Does he do all that time wasting shite in every game?
I haven't watched State play much this year, but the few times I have I don't remember it being that bad.
I don't know that I could watch that bullshite for an entire season.

I'll answer your question with a question. Is your fanbase always this butthurt after a win?

I just wish LSU fans would stop obsessing over John Cohen.

I'm not butt hurt about anything. It was a legitimate question. Do you enjoy watching that brand of baseball?

Nobody slows a game down more than Kevin O'Sullivan

It was smart to try it. He knew they were bout to get beat

if he wasn't a fricking dick that has his assistants call off popups to our infielders, have his pitcher throw at our players heads for crushing too much....maybe we wouldn't be.....theres a reason lsu fans don't like him, don't stick your head in the sand
that being said, that doesn't take away that hes a good coach
you just have a good coach that is a fricking asshat, so you have no choice but to like him

Why was it smart? They are the ones that have to play today. I can see it early in the game. It certainly can get a hot hitting team out of a rhythm. I don't understand the pitching change and three straight pick offs to first in the bottom of the 8th.
Whatever he is doing certainly works. My only point is, that would make for very very boring baseball to me. Idk that I could stand to watch that for an entire season.

I don't particularly enjoy it, but he's not as bad as O'Sullivan.
Watching State play Florida is pretty painful if you aren't a fan of failed pickoffs and the pitcher stepping off the mound.

I guess I didn't notice it as much when we played Florida. I'm assuming it's not always as bad as it was last night. Y'all must have lazily picked to second or third 20+ times last night.

That style gives them a strategic advantage over fundemental baseball.

The Florida game came
Along nicely because it was two aces throwing well (though Lange didn't have his best stuff).
Last night was horrible. I get that they are trying to set the pace but it was annoying as hell.

Let's think about some logic to what looks like an insignificant waste of time:
Put yourself on the mound and think about this angle. You've got scoring threats all around and you desperately are trying to keep the runs to a minimum. It makes sense to physically leave the mound and direct your attention at those runners you want to get out because what it's doing is putting your focus on your next pitch. If it were me, I would be thinking: I really want to get this guy out at third so this is the pitch I've got to throw to keep him from advancing.
I can totally see the reasoning.
