Yeah, but you aren't outside of the SEC.

7-5 at worst. Most likely 8-4. 9-3 is possible.
I can agree with this State fan's realistic assesment.

If you're one of those that buys into star rankings, then they say that Auburn is pretty much on par with LSU and Bama
Remind me of the last time Bama or LSU lost a divisional game by 30+. Remind me of the last time Bama or LSU lsot 4 conference games by 24+ points.
AU is a very good program. They are without question a "big 6" SEC school. However, over the last 5 years Bama, LSU, and UF have been the "Big 3". AU is not on that level, bruh.

Those of you worrying about LT on State's OL...
State by 14 at Auburn
Relf the second best QB in the league
10-2
Ballard will outrush Dyer
Auburn can't win more than 6 games this year
Relf will pass for 2400 yds and rush for 700
We all know your bullshite predictions by now. It was much better when you were banned. Why don't you show us all those bookmarked threads you have from this summer?

They have the same amount of SEC and National titles as Bama in the last 5 years, the same amount of national titles as LSU (of course the winner on the 9th will jump them in this category), and only trail UF by one in each category. They're not far off at all.
Oh and as far as losing games by a lot of points, using your timeline of 5 years, I'm sure Bama had some pretty embarrassing defeats in that time (Saban's first season comes to mind) and I know LSU got beaten badly a few times as well.

Oh, one of those people that are good at detecting sarcasm.
If I put a bunch of emoticons behind it, will it convey the real message to you?

One season did all of that for them, though. They lack the consistency of being a top 10 program year in and year out of the other teams you mentioned.
Bama 4 yr record: 12-2, 14-0, 10-3, 11-1 (47-6)
LSU 4 yr record: 8-5, 9-4, 11-2, 13-0 (41-11)
UF 4 yr record: 13-1, 13-1, 8-5, 6-6 (38-13)
AU 4 yr record: 5-7, 8-5, 14-0, 7-5 (34-17)
AU is the only of those teams to have 5+ loses in 3 of the last 4 seasons. Again, they are a very good program and certainly in the "big 6", but they aren't on LSU or Bama's level of consistency. That was my point.
(chose 4 yr record b/c that reflect performance of those still on the roster)

Bama has lost a total of 6 games the past 4 years - none by more than 14 points. In Saban's first year they lost a total of 6 games - none by more than 7 points. They've lost 12 games by a total of 82 points (avg margin of defeat of 6.8 points.) AU lost 5 games this year by a total of 139 points (avg margin of defeat of 27.6 points)
I'll not look up LSU's info, but I'm sure they'll look closer to Bama than AU. You can argue the point all you want, but the facts don't back up your point.

I agree with you. Bama and LSU are a step above Auburn. Auburn will always have years like the one with Cam. But year in and year out they will be a step below Bama and LSU.
