The more apropros question as it relates to Knight is how many QBs started their careers 6-0 against the SEC? Probably quite a few of those.

How many Aggie QB's have a win against LSU?
Probably quite a few since we've beaten you 20 times. I'm not doing your research report for you, son.

Probably 20?? But not in the last 20 years son... that's 2 decades....1/4 of a lifetime... not even JM2 could do it... and certainly Trevor knight can't

I'm feeling hurt and saddened about the 15 years that we didn't play at all out of the 20 you mentioned.

Edit 2: Scratch Tee Martin
Tee started out 8-0 then lost game 9 to Florida in '99.

For Alabama, you can add Steadman Shealy, Richard Todd, and Pat Trammell.

This thread can be deleted after you play Bama.
Plus we will destroy your one trick pony.

Not Pat Trammell. He lost his first starting qb job against Georgia in 1959.

I don't think one year wonders ought to count.

Can Newton, I know. Any other starting QBs unbeaten in their careers against SEC competition (with a minimum of, say, 6 games started against SEC competition)?
Let's wait until the season is over before we play this game.

Alabama's Steadman Shealy, 1979, went undefeated and won the AP/UPI national championship.
Steady Man played and beat...
l. Vandy 66-3
2. Florida 40-0
3. #18 Tennessee 27-17
4. Mississippi St. 24-7
5. LSU 3-0
6. #14 Auburn 25-18
Also beat #6 Arkie in the Sugar Bowl 24-9; but they weren't SEC then.

Alabama has had two QBs with some unbelievable W-L rations (Jay Barker, AJ McCarron), but both had 2 losses to SEC teams:
AJ - LSU 2011, A&M 2012
Jay - Not sure, he has two losses to his credit career wise, so I don't know out of LSU, Auburn, and Florida that we lost two in 1993 that he was not the starter for.
I think, technically, Steadman Shealy counts. He was the Alabama starting QB in 1979, which went undefeated. That was the only year he was a starter.
He finished 6-0 in SEC play, or 7-0 vs the current SEC list of teams (we beat top 10 Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl that year as well).
