Sounds like there will be an open ST coach position at the end of the season

If I'm Joe Rob right now ... I'm telling Abby to start packing and prepare for a move.

Y'all don't remember Spurrier's second DC at Carolina.

The one with the stand-up defense with players jumping around like rabbits.

After a bad loss, the OBC called him out to the news conference to explain the intricacies of stand-up, rabbit jumping.

The aforementioned DC was soon history.

If we would've won by 21, he would've given that same speech. Coach Joe Robinson had shown A LOT of improvement this year in all aspects of Spec Teams, but then he SHAT all over any good \will with those 2 busted kickoff coverages.

USCe fans are about ready to run him off after being honest in that press conference. Go figure.

Seriously dude, what's it like to just make shite up?

Unfortunately for Joe those 2 mistakes were so glaring it overshadows the other aspects of the ST. Fry is kicking well, we blocked our 2nd FG, recovered that fumble late in the game.

I hate him but it's shite like this that makes me respect the everloving hell out of him. Truly is up there with Bear, Dooley, Neyland and others as being one of the legends of the conference

He'll be fine. We've blocked 2 kicks, make most of our FGs, have actually shown some competence on kick return and before last night we were raving about the improvements on kick offs.

We'll pooch and squib the rest of the year with some touchbacks mixed in (assuming Ard has the leg) and Joe Robinson will be fine

Spurrier alluded to Florida fans being the worst in CFB and one of the reasons he left - so probably not.

FWIW I don't agree with his stereotype. All the Gators I met yesterday were very nice. I think he's just a hateful person - gets it from his inbred Tennessee roots.

Spurrier left because he didn't like the UF fans' expectations. He didn't dislike the fans themselves

Spurrier actually really puts the fans at ease because he makes it clear that he sees the problems.

What drives LSU fans crazy, is that Les Miles doesn't say what everyone is thinking.

"There's no reason we shouldn't have been trying to throw the ball on that MSU defense all game. That's my fault."

I'm aware of that. I was just trying to find a way to make fun of Tennessee rednecks.

Sorry for not being so obvious.
