Lets see Big 5 for A&M.
2011 - Ark
2010 - Ark
2009 - Ark
2008 - Miami
2007 - Miami
2006 - none
2005 - Clemson
2004 - Clemson
2003 - Va Tech, Pitt
2002 - Va Tech, Pitt
2001 - Notre Dame
2000 - Notre Dame
1999 - none
1997 - Florida State
Pretty decent history of playing big time OOC teams. We had a minor stretch of not because of a conference move.

The Aggie dilemma...either admitting Arkansas was a legit OOC foe at the time (thus giving them credit), or admitting that their OOC schedule was shite.

1998
1999
2006
2012
2013
That's five years too many in that short span of time.
Why only two years where you played two Big 5 OOC games? 2002, 2003?
Why the arbitrary 1997 starting date BTW?

their big OOC game was the Arkansas series so it's not incredibly simple to just schedule big OOC games after changing conferences when the ones you were scheduled to play are wiped out.
I hate sticking up for A&M, but tOBC's schtick gets old. He just runs his damn mouth and he hasn't won dick at SC.
Didn't stop us from being able to go get teams from BCS or that had been winning their conference and going to BCS bowl games. Rutgers was a program on the rise with Schiano when we scheduled them. N. Illinois has been tearing it up, we're lucky their all-Everything QB has graduated. We went and got Texas Tech who is a nightmare match up for our weaknesses, but we're a bad match up for their weaknesses too.
We went out and aggressively scheduled the best we could. A&M went and picked daisies like LATech, SMU, S. Carolina St., Sam Houston St. in 2012. Rice, Sam Houston St. and SMU again, and the force that is UTEP in 2013 and this year they play Lamar, Rice, SMU, and ULM.
Luckily for A&M Kolton Browning has graduated.

Do I have to keep repeating myself? The transition hurt out schedule. It happened. Boohoo. You can look back at the last 3 ADs and they all scheduled big time OOC games and will continue to.
