He didn't really mean what he said. He was confused.

I didn't feel bad for Tunsil.

I actually appreciated his honesty. He could have lied his arse off and say all of it was hacked. I've never taken money, etc. and he's about to be a millionaire so my sympathy only goes so far.

But he was brutally honest.

But I would stand to wonder if I was one of his new teammates, I wouldn't tell the guy shite I didn't want to ever have repeated.

How does the Internet not know who shuffled him off the stage by now?

I have the weirdest fricking smug look and smile on my face while this is unfolding on Sportscenter.

Was he though? I'd be shocked if his camp doesn't come out and deny it saying he was misled and confused.

I just said in another Tunsil thread that I wish reporters had the balls to grill NFL veterans like that, instead of picking on a kid who's never played a fricking game and had only done something probably 70% of the league does.

That was wild.

He seemed very convincing as if he had cracked and had an honest moment.. then that woman came to save him..

I fully expect him to change his tune and say there was a misunderstanding.. but he seemed to be very clear the second time with the question and his answer.

It's actually sad. This kid made OM millions and yet he has to ask for help to pay his mom's bills. Smh this system is pathetic

Thing is though he clearly knew they were asking about the messages and he validated them saying it was his account. So all the stuff about paying his moms rent is true.

I agree it's all true, but I'll be genuinely surprised if they stick to the truth. They better do something soon though because Tunsil will be the first 10 minutes of every Sportscenter and splashed across sports papers across the country by morning.

That isn't an exaggeration either.

Bottom line, a lot players have families that are struggling. It is very hard when the coach is making more money than the POTUS but your mom is about to get evicted out of her shack. It is even harder if your 1,000 miles away from home and you can't even afford a bus ticket to see your family and friends. Why do you think some players end up doing dumb shite? They often feel helpless. I'm not saying pay the players or pay their families (although some schools were smart enough to hire star athletes families) but some of these guys do need help as do many students.

Tunsil was just the 13th pick in the nfl draft... No reason to feel sorry for him. Om is on the hook, not tunsil.
