True Story. When I was a boy in oxford, Freeze had a ice cream truck business named "Mr. Freeze." He use to come around to my neighborhood and sell me snazzy bars and flip flop pops. Im lying.

I usually enjoy and agree with your posts on the Poli board but your ignorance is really showing here. In addition to being consistently ranked as one of the best small towns in America, Oxford is ranked as one of the best places to retire in the country. The number of wealthy retirees who have relocated to Oxford (who previously had no connection to Mississippi or Ole Miss at all) is mind boggling. Not only is Oxford one of the safest places to live, it is also the second most affluent place to live in Mississippi behind Madison.

Is this why Freeze is going to make about $4mil this year after bonuses?

Lols. First time in history your shite school has a sought-after coach and you just can't believe he'd leave for greener pastures and more money.

Grow up, kid. Major program coaches aren't averaging $3M a year these days because they don't care about money. Why don't you google what they made even 10 years ago.

Pretty sad when a "kid" knows more about football than you. If you knew anything about Freeze then you would know he's not going anywhere until he retires or is fired.

Devil's advocate here... I think freeze and Mullen would strongly consider Florida if offered bc Florida offers a much easier path to the national championship.

Last I checked, Columbia, South Carolina is still much closer to Augusta than Gainesville, Florida.

Spurrier isn't going anywhere until he retires.

Mullen hates Gainesville and more importantly Foley. If he leaves State for anyone, it would be for a place like Penn State or Michigan.

Freeze is at his dream job. Born in Oxford, grew up an Ole Miss fan, his wife is from North Mississippi and it's where his girls were born. He isn't leaving until he is fired or retires.

I don't think either leaves, but stranger things have happened.

Let's say Om, state, and auburn tie for west this year. Auburn would represent west bc of stronger east opponents. Then Om and state get left out of playoffs with 1 loss. A scenario like this could drive one of them to a bigger school.

Never say never

Lols. Maybe you'll get to keep that little cartoonish bumpkin after all.
