I avoid Fleet Week and Bike Week and HBC Beach Week and any other event that has week in it. The trash comes from the North on vacation during anything with week in the name.

Yea, but you balance out the nice winter temps with demon armpit summers and ridiculously stupid crime (not crime rate so much as really stupid criminals).

The summers here are not as bad as most think.
I'm fairly close to the ocean and very close to the river. The breezes are nice.
There are only 4-5 months of summer temps and 3 of those are gnarly.
It's the only thing that keeps us from being completely flooded with Yankees so I'll take it.
BTW: It's no hotter here than Richmond, DC, NYC, etc. We rarely have 95 degree days and never 100 degree days.

Meh. Sadly, Pasco is becoming just another part of Tampa.
