Doesn't matter, they've played and beat everyone. If only their football fans thought like this.

You mean like taterheads do ... every year ... playing an ACC schedule?

Yeah, we get it, we do. But no, we're not going to quit talking about your yearly pansy arse football schedule.

See, this is only one year with our basketball schedule. But y'all do it every year with your football schedule.

And let's be honest. The only reason your football team is where it is now is because we had our worst football team in 15 years or so this year. Otherwise it would have been just another one of those high-hopes years after playing your ACC schedule ... when the Gamecocks sent you home crying.

Did they?

Oh hell yes!

Will that help our RPI/BPI or whatever it is?

Good win today taterheads.

You missed the whole point . League has nothing to do with it. Look at the talent of the team. Anyone can look at the South Carolina basketball team and see they have a young, talented team with solid coaching. Take off the garnet colored shades and look around for once

No I didn't.

You typed what you typed and I responded to it.

We're 15-0 because we have not played the toughest schedule.

But y'all live your football lives like that every season playing in the ACC.

You've got a good team. No one is disputing that.

What's going to be your excuse if you don't win?

Here's the thing. You hang-out over here because you wanna be SEC. You know, we all know, this is as close as you're ever gonna get ... and that's fine. But we've now played in this conference longer than we did in the ACC. We know, Gamecock fans know, these are two different animals. But here's the thing. We're not over on the ACC boards touting how we've got a winning record over the ACC over X number of random seasons ... we're too busy thinking about our SEC schedule, year-in and year-out.

It's tough to compete in this league. It'll beat you up and spit you out. Every single team, every program, in this league, suffers down years .... all of them. Some, like us, more than others, less than some.

If you're Clemson ... there is no excuse for not having an up year every single year, because you play in the ACC. Your schedule, in football, looks kinda likes our does in basketball this year ... except you get to do it every single year.

So do we want Bama to bend y'all over and go-in dry? Absolutely. For a couple of reasons.

Will it make one iota of difference in our rivalry or our yearly game? Absolutely not.

What slays me is that you taterheads honestly believe we'll be down for long. I just lulz at y'all every time I see you, or any of your fellow sheep humpers, honestly try to make that case.

But hey, at least for the next 24 hours y'all can dream about being an SEC program ... yet the truth of the matter, the reality of the situation for y'all, is that it is never gonna happen. And here's what's even more assured. Our rivalry, being what it is, will be balanced for the rest of recorded history in all likelihood. It'll get bigger over time maybe, on a national stage, but it'll always be balanced from here on out ... at worst. Because we play these other programs eight or nine times a year, every year, in front of crammed-full packed houses against SEC level players.

Tomorrow night I suspect y'all will come to that realization fairly quickly. And your username, your play on words ... it's lulz time every time we see it here.

Maybe that makes some sense to you. I doubt it will but maybe, after tomorrow, you'll come to grips with it. Who knows, it's all good in the meantime.

I will not wish you good luck come Monday night ... but I will say that I hope none of your players are permanently crippled. May it be an injury free game on both sides of the ball.

In the meantime, we are already enjoying our basketball season, while it lasts.

If I was a UK fan in this thread, I'd shut the frick up.

Impressive, and props to the Cocks but UK just had a team go 38-1. In addition they played tougher schedules so far and the season is still not done. LSU men are 9-6 and played nobody of note in the non conference. LSU women are 7-9 and beat nobody of note in the non conference. Even a blind squirrel can find a nut now and again so you might want to slow your roll there Trixie.

FWIW, UK women have already beaten Arizona State, Colorado, Louisville, and Duke. UK men have already beaten Duke, Arizona State, and Louisville.

UK women play Cocks this thursday and February 4th
UK men play Cocks on February 14th
