No lie though when I was a kid I used to think the head was where the neck ends, and the actual head was a long beak of some sort.

Its head is disproportionally small relative to its body. Is there a reason for that?

At least it doesn't look like it was stolen from an SNL skit.
as for the ATM logo.. well I don't think anyone who has their abbreviations in the wrong order should be talking crap about logos.
