THUNDERCOCK69 has to be the greatest user handle in the history of the internet. It sounds like equal parts AC/DC album and Quentin Tarantino movie.

I understand that this is all a huge misunderstanding......they are actually interested in hiring Eric J. Hyman, of Eric J. Hyman & Associates, out of Forth Worth. He is a graduate of TAMU and has many connections with the BOTs....

I expect to see an announcement of his hiring later this evening....

they are keeping it a very thinly veiled secret for sure. hard to penetrate what's really going on.

Just heard about this on the radio here in Columbia. They said this will happen quick, whether Hyman is the one they hire or not. Early as tomorrow.

Seriously, I would not want to see Hyman leave...he has done a wonderful job at USC...

We are currently paying Hyman $504K annually....I think TAMU was paying Byrne $690K annually, and gave him a better bonus plan. USC gave Hyman a $75K raise just last year. Looks like we may need to give him another one...

About 50/50 with fans approval of Hyman. Imo its not a huge loss to USC and ive heard most of his family is in Texas and will likely leave. Good money man coaching hires still in question.

Byrne made something like $800k last year but I'm not sure how much of that is base salary.

Yeah he's only helped two of the big three programs go to levels they've never been before, hired a very good coach in basketball, and our facilities are much improved.

Who needs him?
