Warning - it is a DAY game.

And this is not just any day game... it is a day game....in SEPTEMBER!

I’ve always known the people of South Carolina to be very tough - so I’m sure you will be fine. But not everyone can handle the torture of sweating and moderate sunburn.

If you do decide to take on the excruciating task of watching a football game in the day time - please be careful!

You will be in my thoughts!

I'll be there. It's gonna be hot. We put 160 bottles of water in the Cockaboose today to be prepared. Wearing all white tomorrow.

It's gonna be really frickin hot in Willy B tomorrow. Really hot. No cloud cover, high UV index, 85k people jammed in there standing room only.

It's unfortunate for LSU fans they rarely play day games anymore. Would probably help their livers

It's going to be hotter than the made up temp in DKR visitors locker room.

A lot of folks made their game plans earlier this week when the temps were projected to be in the mid 90s. Columbia is a level of hot that is insane. 95 there ain't 95 in Knoxville and Knoxville is pretty terrible at that temp because it sits in a valley. I honestly wouldn't blame anyone for not enduring that level of heat + the extra heat from being in a stadium.

Cock fans are diehard tho and will be there. I'm not sure why it's even a question.

Some teams are seeing a rapid drop in attendance due to playing in hot day games!

Some are even putting trackers on the fans to try to make them stay.

South Carolina is so great that the networks want them in the early game slots against cupcakes..... shite that doesn’t work either

South Carolina didn’t mention game time or field temperature. they just played the game. DING DING DING

Ah... you mean the team with midget Stalin using his private KGB to try and control students?

Damn ... the OPs bait went completely over my head until just now. I was just worried about me and two of my buddies in their 70s not dying from heat stroke tomorrow. Old CSMs can take it though .... one of the brothers is a Bama fan friend of mine up from Panama City. His first time seeing Bama in person since 1974. Former CSM of Fort Jackson, his brother, the Gamecock fan, is a former CSM of the 82nd Airborne Division and was in my wedding. We're going to get liquored up but we'll hydrate. Bottle of water every third drink tomorrow.

Wonder why Bama fans have such a hard time with the heat?

They're going to experience some good old fashioned Capital City Hell Heat tomorrow. Prof is right .... you gotta experience it once or twice to really understand.

Holtz said it wasn't hell but it was right next door.

Spurrier said it is hotter heat than anything he ever experienced in Florida.

We'll see if it has any effect on the game tomorrow.

They mentioned it in another thread.

The most common reasons I saw were:

1. Their yuge bodies are susceptible to sunburn.

2. Their brains tend to malfunction in regular temperatures, heat adds to the problem.

3. Most can not afford sunscreen.

4. Something they call “Stinking Sis” - I’m not sure what that means.

Why can't lsu do that? Maybe Woodward will try this if it works out well at Alabama.

I realize we don't play that many day games at home but this is more about getting the students to stay for the whole game regardless of score or tempature.

In other words, there's a problem with the students staying for all the games not just hot games, and blowouts .

This is an issue for Lsu as well.

Question. Do all sec schools have this problem? If so, does this include somewhat close games, as in 3 tds or less, margin of score ?

Edit for question - would you want the school you love doing this? I say yes and have 0 problem with thw method.

Something should be done wish we could come up with a way to do the same type thing for all of lsu fans. This could be easily done with season ticket holders ,I'm sure.

I'm just glad I'm not seeing 130 threads from lsu and texas fans on fn locker room temperatures. Weirdest fn dick measuring competition ever.

I don't get it either.

They seem to be in great physical condition compared to your average Tennessee fan.

They have a superb offseason fan conditoning program.

frick that.

You want the students to stay?

Let the band play Neck in the 4th quarter.

Free balloons to save time at the urinal -- I mean free balloons for the kids.

Free Coke to mix what's left of your bourbon -- I mean free Coke for the designated drivers.

These are very cost effective ways to keep butts in seats and won't turn LSU into Crimson Commies.

Woodward loves America so I think he will do the right thing.

It’s really all about wearing flowing clothes. Black clothes work well in the heat. Much like they pull heat away from the sun, they pull heat away from your body.

44-16 William... you are off base. Please schitck to your script. 44-16.

Poor wittle LSU, so abused by 74 degree heat in a locker room. And some louisianans grow up without air conditioning causing them to smoke dope and carry guns...oh the horror...the absolute horror.
