Gamecocks had 481 yards of total offense. Every single one of those yards was by a freshman or a sophomore.

Even with the multiple turnovers in the red zone, and the poor OL and defensive play, USC had the more total offensive yards, gained more 1st downs, had the better average yds per play, and won the time of offensive possession. And that's pretty much all gained in the final 3 quarters, as we were non-existent in the 1st Qtr.....
The defense played poorly, but it allowed 333 total offensive yds to USF in the 1st half, and only 139 yds in the 2nd half plus overtime. USF out-gained USC 183 to 39 in the 1st qtr., and we out-gained them 442-286 and out-scored them 39-31 the rest of the way.
This team has been so slow to start all season long. Add a porous defense to that, and it's a dangerous combination for Gamecock hopes. Really need to find answers for the OL and entire defense for next season, and our offense can be a leader for us to success. We got the skill players returning and incoming necessary for that side of the ball.....
