There will no doubt be a lot of state fans there but they didn't sell the game out. Lots of people in mobile are going to this game because an SEC team is coming to Ladd. There will be plenty of necks sporting orange and houndstooth there this weekend.

Yup.

Our tailgate area will probably be invaded. I don't even think I'm going to drive over there.

I live in midtown near the loop. I'm a block over from Murphy high school. It will take me probably 30 minutes to walk over there.

our usual crew is going to be there but I'll bet they will try and rope off our spot a lot earlier.

Your butthurt is awesome given the fact that they were six yards from beating you in the mighty Neyland Stadium last year.

It probably won't even take 30 minutes. Walking back through that area as its getting dark might be a little nerve racking though.

FYI, most people I have talked to is going to root for the Jags--not too many Miss St fans round these parts, at least who would admit it.

I'm sure you have, what, like a 30k people friend base that you've talked to about the game.

Hell I'm not even sure about leaving my car in that parking lot, much less walking around there.

It takes like 20 minutes tops. And its not a bad walk if you just go up Gordon to Monterrey...it's basically one block that's the issue and right after a game will be no problem.

naw, there is always a ton of cops down there anyway.

and I'd think there would even be more there since this is supposed to be a bigger crowd.

but I know what you mean

I've walked over there before and have never had a problem.

there is usually a lot of people around the stadium anyway no matter who we're playing along with the cops.

so there just isn't any shady business going on.

I've seen one fight before but it was just some drunk Alabama fan getting into with some older guy.

cops came over and hauled his arse off.

Does South Alabama have a remote chance?

Very remote. USA beat Kent State 23-13 on the road in their only game thus far. They're not Southern Mississippi, but they don't really have the horses to hang with MSU.

It would take a pile of turnovers for USA to pull off the upset.

Thanks for finally giving an answer. I have been checking in all morning to see, and all I could make of this thread were UT fans arguing with UGA and MSU fans.
