Dan Mullen is a genius and master strategist. He understands it's ok to lose a few battles to win the war. I can't believe all the Ole Miss "Fightin Lawyers" haven't figured out he's the one who was handing out t-shirts, Red Lobster gift cards, cars, cash, and under the counter Rx to get kids to sign with Ole Miss.

Just out of curiosity, how many times have fans said "if we're going down, we're taking X with us"? Or this investigation is going to open up a can of worms that the NCAA/X conference wants no part of?

During the times all the Ole Miss cheating really ramped up, Mullen was working to get the PSU, Miami, and UF jobs. He had a period of about 2-3 years where he didn't think he'd be at MSU long. That seems to have changed and he seems to have determined it's a good spot for him, but I doubt he was worried enough about Ole Miss during the time you were at your cheating peak to think it would impact him.
Also, you're going to get hammered. It will be bad and the rest of us will point and laugh. MSU, LSU, etc are not getting "caught up" in your mess and have no NCAA worries as it relates to Ole Miss. The sooner you accept that the better off you'll be.
