SOURCE: Former Auburn HC Gene Chizik interviewed with Miss. State for its head coaching vacancy on Saturday. The next morning Chizik removed himself as a candidate... Wouldn't be surprised if Chizik returns to coaching, just has to be an ideal fit.

Nobody wanted the Chiz around here. He's right where he needs to be in his current job. He's the best prognosticator on ESPN period.

We’re hiring Judge. Interviewing Chiz was due diligence. Some may laugh at this, but you don’t interview solely to hire. I’m willing to bet Chiz gave his two cents on the situation. It was mutually advantageous imo. Chiz wants back into coaching, and probably wanted to get back in the groove of the carousel. Solid bait though OP
