How is an Ohio State fan poking fun at how Oregon has played against the SEC?
We're 1-1 in our last two, btw.

Auburn won on a last second field goal and needed that lucky RB rollover run to win the game. Auburn was the better team that year but stop acting like half the teams in the SEC would smash Oregon. Ya'll will get your shot at them....

Mariota is an outstanding athlete and a great quarter back and I won't deny that to him. But a big part of his completion percentage is part of Oregons scheme of just out athleteing the majority of the Pac-12.

Agreed. Don't know why this website is sucking him off so hard. He's good, but like another poster said, he's no Tebow, Cam, or Johnny.

All it takes is one win over Bama.

Even if tho, is he in their league?

By this logic Tebow and Ingram are also undeserving. There are very few heisman winners who went on to be stars in the NFL and none of them are recent.

to OP, how many entire Oregon games have you watched in the past 3 years? you don't gotta answer.

I'll let the NFL judge that.

Tebow certainly didn't pan out.

Johnny and Cam were definitely worthy in college. Too early to say in NFL.

Marcus beats Bama and the media will put him on that level.

They need heroes so they can tear them down later.

It's a matter of relevancy. Relative to other college players that year.

NFL careers shouldn't be totally discounted. It adds beneficial context. Is a guy still special at the next level? Plenty of Heisman finalists are but Heisman winners not so much. Cooper probably will be a special guy in the NFL.

Ole Miss would def beat their arse right? Especially since Ole Miss beat Bama this year. Ole Miss is the second best team in the SEC clearly right Bammer?

These statistics are very misleading and an unfair comparison to amari. For example, sure MM has more rushing and passing TDs than Amari, but MM also has more rushing attempts and Amari has yet to throw a pass this year. That 26 yards per catch seems gaudy but Amari has more overall receptions and Receiving TDs than MM and it ain't even close. You need to take your MM and UAB loving arse out of this conversation. :smh:

Ok, so Amari, as far as we SEC people go, is the best player in the country. Duh.

Unfortunately there is a nation outside the sec, not even being sarcastic. And those guys that play outside the sec can actually play semi-decent ball. Any stat line that resembles mariota's in the FBS level deserves the heisman IMO

Ok I am with you. One is a QB and one is a WR. Check, lets move on.

quote:

MM has more rushing and passing TDs than Amari,

QBs throw passes. WR don't. Ok, still with you.

Yep. Amari is a superior WR to Mariota. No dispute there.

Holy shite. Bammer gold today. Lots of it.
