DAMN

You had better contact literally every other school in Florida who is managing to still play their game. Quick!!

Including a certain senator who wrote a letter to the governor saying he hoped they would reconsider the decision to have the game at Gainesville.

Jesus Christ, why do you inbred Gump fricks keep saying this? Like a letter from a Senator had any bearing on Florida's decision to be complete pussies.

To start and end with canceling is the dumbest thing I've ever seen in sports and management in general. Truly, this could not have been handled worse.

Correct. If Flolita wants to avoid the stigma of forever being labeled the world's biggest collection of wusses, it'll pull it out, pull its panties up and put the game back on for Monday. Spankey, on the other hand, is DONE as commish. He'll never live this one down.

Oh no we wouldn't want to inconvenience a few college players or actually get coaches to do their jobs. You are the one that sounds like you live in an alternate reality.

If y'all knew how dumb you actually sound by defending Florida for this. Just sounds like to me y'all argue for the sake of arguments but it doesn't surprise me. LSU fans should and will stand up and take the lead when the SEC has no leadership. This shouldn't have happened like this and it's pretty damn pathetic.

I honestly don't see where you are going with this. It isn't 1960. If they announced that the game was going to take place on Monday not one single person on the LSU side would miss the game because the team was "dismissed" or whatever earlier today.

If you can think of one instance where a similar thing has occurred, a game cancelled / postponed with the involved parties dismissed, and then un-cancelled or set for the following day / 2 days / 3 days later etc., please let me know.

I really don't think the logistics of putting on an event of this scale are as easy as you are making them out to be.

because i dont' know if all the LSU players are still on campus, where all the coaches are, where are all the UF players, where are all their coaches, where is all of the stadium event staff, parking attendants, security personell, have the players and coaches till been preparing for an opponent?

I can hop a plane and fly over to florida this afternoon, putting on a football game is a lot more involved.

But i'm off work for the weekend, so whatever i'm not worried about it anymore. If yall can make it happen then go for it.

- also i was totes being facetious with use of the word...

LSU was going to do it.. You can't because no team has ever pussied out like FL before. It's like this IF you really want something to take place or happen you get it done. Have guys working 12 hour shifts "get it done". They were taking about paying millions of dollars for LSU so why not.

Call them back to work, call in replacements for the ones that don't make it, have people volunteer from Gainesville, LSU will get players and coaches where they need to be. Florida could also. No excuse

It's not like you're calling a bunch of engineers to come build the actual stadium. Hell so what if not everyone makes it they can make P and J sandwiches for everyone. It's a freakn game that needs to happen. Most would be ok with it knowing what just happened. Get the essential personnel and go with it.

I think they are hoping both teams lose enough to fall out of the division lead. So that they can let them make it up on Dec. 1st or 3rd. They did this in 2001 "I think" with Southern Miss and Alabama.
