Some truth from the Ole Miss board

Approaching ten #1 recruiting classes in a row? No problem at all. Dozens of signees have pictures on twitter with new cars? So what? A coach loaned Ha Ha Clinton-Dix money? Slap him on the wrist. Middleman Luther Davis helps an agent get money to D.J. Fluker? What can you do? Coach Bo Davis lied to the NCAA? Move along - nothing to see here.
When will the NCAA finally bring the hammer down on bama? Their players brag on twitter about taking money and post pics of all their new rides without any investigation or inquiry. It seems that the NCAA has turned a blind eye to their antics, but it will eventually have to come to a halt.

If everyone shuts their trap when the NCAA comes around, they don't have real evidence and allow a small punishment
If you are so incompetent that you pay a recruit who ends up with a rival school, you can't keep the birds from whistling

Bo Davis has been cleared by the NCAA. He's working as a coach again. I'm not arguing the other shite again. It's either been dealt with or bullshite.

Key thing in all of those was total upfront honesty and being proactive.
As soon as administrators found out (which they did, because of control) guys were fired and the NCAA was called. Hell, Bo Davis has already been cleared and is coaching again. We didn't have to fire him, we did it anyway because he lied to our coaches, AD and the NCAA.......over illegal frickin contact.
Dareus sat out games and paid back money.
The HaHa loan was literally discovered by a control our AD has to quickly discover any issues like that. WE brought it to the NCAA, then fired the guy who did it. Lack of control would be, you know, hiding it from the NCAA, not volunteering it to them.
Basically the opposite of lacking institutional control.

That one is the definition of little bro. Classic example.

That's Ole Miss' worst issue. While they're trying to point fingers and compare issues, it's their lies and boldness that has cost them.

I've said it once before and I'll say it again. Cheating is so ingrained in the culture at Alabama that it will be very difficult to hit them with major sanctions. It is accepted there so everyone looks the other way. It's like breathing.

The difference between the two is that Alabama administration officials were pro-active. They called the NCAA, let them know what was going on, and suspended/fired all those involved.
Ole Miss tried to hide their infractions and had the gaul to continue their indiscretions while the NCAA was still snooping around Oxford.
