UGA winning back to back titles is incredible.

Stetson is a great college QB. You look foolish tearing him down because he is not 2” taller.

Kirby has built a sustainable program. I look forward to more titles. Yet Saban is still the GOAT. He is a leader and a great coach for as long as he wants to be.

The LSU Natty team looked unbeatable. We will never know how it stacks up against other Natty teams as those games can’t be played.

NIL is good as it allows the players who generate revenue to get paid. It also encourages some players to stay for another year before declaring.

The transfer portal is bad news. It has to be controlled somehow. The combo of the portal and NIL could ruin the sport.

Alabama should not have been in the playoffs this year because they did not EARN it. They were not a deserving team even if they may have been a better team than TCU.

The 4 team playoff makes every game count. The 12 team playoff will be interesting too and keep teams in it longer during the season. Pros and cons to each.

Texas and Oklahoma joining the SEC is just weird.

I think the portal should be reserved for upperclassmen only. You shouldn’t be able to commit as a freshman then leave because you didn’t start as a freshman.

However if it’s not working out by the time you’re a junior or senior you can transfer

No, it's not good idea because Georgia will load it up.

I mean, this isn't slavery.
If a kid wants to leave, let him leave.

But he should be ineligible for the first year unless he has his diploma.
There are hundreds of eligibility requirements. Years removed from high school. Academic requirements. Etc.. one of those eligibility requirements should be 1 year after an undergrad transfer.

It doesn't prevent NILs buying players. But it sure does deter it (pay 2 years to receive 1 deferred).

2022 UGA’s defense ranked 53rd in pass defense.

I think you know exactly how it would play out against the 2019 LSU offense.

LSU fans forget the 2 other phases to the game. It is why you lost to A&M in 2022.

Good points.

12-team playoff adds some importance to bowl games that seems to have disappeared lately with opts-outs.

What would be the issue with making a transfer portal kid meet the academic eligibility standards of that institution?

You're damn right it is. I don't want Mizzou and Aggy. Still not sure how I feel about Arkansas.

If we're going to be the southeastern conference, let's at least have southeastern teams.

Cannibalize the ACC, let those SWC weirdos jerk each other off.

2019 LSU total team defense was ranked 31st and the kicker was Cade fricking York and punter was Zack Von Rosenburg...

You think slavery is giving someone housing, good education, free meals, free travel to good destinations, access to tudors, free clothes, the best medical care available and all they have prepare/play a game for 20 hours a week.

I think you should read a history book about what slaves had to go through before making that comparison.

2019 LSU hand down the best in modern era, at least in the SEC.

UGA's pass efficiency defense was #2 in the SEC, #9 among P5 teams.

The reality is UGA was blowing most of their opponents out and they had a lot of pass attempts. High volume produces more yards, but it doesn't mean it's incredibly effective. UGA was one of 3 teams where opponents threw more than 500 times on them this season.

USCw went from assured playoff spot to losing to Tulane.

Maybe. I fear this will just turn into a combination of blowouts and SEC rematches. We'll no longer be able to say "*Insert Other Conference Team Here* wouldn't stand a chance in the SEC." when they beat the #3 or #4 SEC team. Then it will just be "Why don't Michigan, Ohio State, Clemson, FSU, USCw, and Oregon join the SEC and we can drop the rest?"

So... your theory is that UGA really was as good as they played against bad teams rather than good teams? Rather than think UGA was sleepwalking through easy games... instead you think that was really how good UGA was and the UGA team that destroyed better teams was "fake"?

Wow... that's really stupid.

Easiest schedule next year too. I expect a 3rd title. Prepping for at Tenny all year long.

What are you talking about? We play the best SEC team Alabama managed to beat this past year as our rotating cross divisional game.
