Yes, LSU is paired with JMU. JMU would host.

I agree completely. They should also seed by resume, not location of school, and resume.

For a #1 seed, we got a pretty shitty seed. FAU has a 50-7 record and we've played them already.

How are UF and FAU the only College Softball teams this year with 50+ wins and in the same regional?

played FIU, and FAU plays in the CUSA so its not like they play some powerhouses teams, only played 4 NCAAT teams (Boston U, FL A&M, Oregon & UCF) so 50 wins is not all that impressive...UF should take care of them

Plus Florida and Florida State always get paired up with USF, UCF, FIU, FAU for geographical reasons. But Utah is going to Lexington, Fordham is going to Oregon, Arizona is going to Tennessee, Cal is going to Alabama, BYU is going to Missouri, etc. Even when keeping equitable competition in mind, there are much better 'geographically-friendly' choices to be made.
