One of my best friends is in the same boat. He did graduate from Bama law though and got tired of having to explain why he went to AU for undergrad. Now he just tells people he's got a degree from Bama and leaves it at that.

Auburn offered me a full ride and Alabama didn't. I paid for grad school at Alabama though.

Damn that's almost his exact story too. He got a full ride to AU for some agriculture thing and then quit the program his sophomore year. By that time he decided to stick it out at AU since he was already two years in. He was able to make bank selling his student football tickets though

I like Auburn as far as the school/campus goes. Some of the best nights in my life were had at the supper club. I just despise their cheating ways.

He liked it as well and we always had a good time when we would go down to visit him when the Iron Bowl was at Auburn. Crazy thing is he would go and tailgate with his AU friends and then stay at the tailgate to watch the Bama game
