I don't know how a playoff can work with some teams playing in a conference championship game and some not.

Alabama Fan:
quote:

Bama would be a solid number 3. Msu gets the last spot bc Baylor got smoked in their loss. Plus they're Baylor.

Exactly why we should eliminate the polls if we move to a playoff.

Thanks for making the case, gump.

Baylor has the same record as Bama, AND has a championship. Why should Bama go above Baylor? Strength of schedule?

None of the above. Stanford is the 4th best team in the country.

Good Sarcasm.

A lot of retarded shite in this thread. Bama is obviously deserving of #3. OSU was overrated and hadn't played anyone decent all year long, so an MSU win over them is impressive, but it doesn't make up for their loss to Notre Dame. Bama has a few quality wins with a last second loss in an away game to the #2 team.

Bama fans crying for a shot at first place loser.

...Didn't take long for the Tide Nation to descend to accepting mediocrity.

You need to wake up and face facts. Over 98.7% of the LSU corndog nation would sell their hunting shack on the bayou in order to have the kind of season Bama had this year instead of the one they earned themselves.

Baylor is the Vandy of their conference. They got exposed against a good but not great osu team. Polls have nothing to do with the fact that everyone knows bama is better and they would get the playoff spot over Baylor 100 out of 100 times. Just be thankful the playoff doesn't start until next year barner.

Nah, losing to Auburn never sets well with us.

No championship, no care.

100% of the gump fan base was certain they were entitled to play for a third championship - and now they're begging for third place.

Pathetic.

No they don't.

Gumps should be the first fanbase crying not to have a playoff. They would lose their built-in advantage of "everyone knows..."

Might as well change the thread title to "let's see how low we can rank Alabama before they get mad."

Why would anyone trade in a win over Auburn for a loss to Auburn?
