So who would agree that this game is the make or break game for LSU fans?

Etling seems to be the last hope for all LSU fans. If he performs poorly then would the rant get put on pause for a moment? This could be worse than the game I don't speak of

Our expectations are already at rock bottom. Can't wait to see what Herman/Fisher does with Etling next season.

This is not a make or break game. Next week's game for LSU will be make or break

It could potentially be a break game with a loss. Probably not a make game with a win.

Every game is "break" for LSU fans since 21-0

You lose this game, you are staring 4-8 in the face.

Depends on how the game plays out. If both teams play poorly and we barely win then there will still be lots of questions about this team.

Herman is not going to LSU or anywhere else for a couple years , maybe several years. If he did go to LSU , he would go back to Harris for sure though.

This is only true if they make the jump to a P5 conference. Otherwise a $2+ mil bump in salary will make him jump.

Every week , for every college football team is a "make or break" week. That why college football is the best sport on the planet! The difference with LSU this year is they already "broke".

Honestly these next two games are going to tell us whether we'll legitimately compete for the West or be a 4 loss team.

Harris would flourish with a Herman type offensive mind. One can only dream. I've concluded after the Wisconsin game that this team is not winning the west, so for me there are make or break games. Even if Etling plays well this LSU team does not have the lines on both sides of the ball to win the west.

They will be P5 and Houston would match $ at this point. He's got the city of Houston (like top 7 in the country in population , I think) going crazy about the University of Houston. The university has to see how valuable this guy can be for them. Again, he's going nowhere. This is not a knock on LSU , I don't think he would take any job next year and leave Houston.

The Big 12, i.e. OU and UT to a lesser extent, do not want Houston in the conference, and I don't see them going to the PAC-12. OU really wants no part of Houston moving to the conference. There's a thread on the MSB about it somewhere.

We will see how much pull OU and UT actually have.

ETA: I completely agree that if UH makes the jump Herman will remain there though.

If you lose both, your looking at a 6 loss team. I think you'll go 1-1. So probably a 4 loss team.

There is no make. You're playing a team that lost to South Alabama.
