It's because you guys suck and outside of the second half against Florida, you've looked like shite.

Week 10 and the vols are unranked, waters wet.

Tennessee. No more "we're young" excuse. Nearly beat some quality teams the year prior, starting QB returning, a defensive star up front, hire a good DC, tons of experience back, and finally breaking the streak vs Florida.

Still get crushed 49-10 in your own stadium.

Not really. There have to be legitimate expectations first in order to be seen as a disappointment.

I would have to say Fournette. He has shown he is injury prone and can't get it done against good defenses because of his poor vision.

The SEC is down. actually, 2012 was the last time we really had more than a couple national players.

We have reverted back to the early- mid 2000's when LSU, Auburn and sometimes Florida were the only players.

The question isn't who is disappointing but who hasn't been?

Bama
Auburn

The rest, put em in a bag and shake em out how you like.

The Vols pretty much have the wins they were likely to have at this point in the season. So they are not, by definition, disappointing.

You didn't expect a win against SC? And you all struggled mightily with some weak opposition early in the year. I would say that's, by definition, disappointing for a team with national title aspirations.

We have won the games we were supposed to win.

We likely won't lose to any East team.

Tennessee- they have so many players that have experience. I truly expected them to evolve, but Butch gonna Butch.

florida to me. this was their year for the taking and they flat out stink.

Everybody knew this was a rebuilding year, not sure why you'd think we thought we were taking it.

Walk-on quarterback starting (turned into scholarship), 4 underclassmen on offensive line, all freshmen backups, best receivers are underclassmen.

We (logical people) didn't expect to accomplish much this year, we're still reeling on offense from Muschamp's tenure.

Alabama fans for putting down other teams when most of them (I won't say all because I have seen what they look like) know the truth about this so called sport.

You really thought we were going to the championship this year? Temper your expectations, dude.

I didn't even think we would compete with the East.
