I think Ford is more naturally talented but Lacy is the better back on the field imo. Will know better at the end of the season obviously but I don't think either school will be complaining about their backup rb anytime this year. Both teams are set with their top 2 backs.

Keep telling yourself that. There's a reason baseball players put weights on their bats before they go up to the plate. Makes it easier to swing the ball when the weights come off.

Makes it easier to whiff too.

The Tide is running into the same situation they had last year. Punching through cupcakes does not prepare you for big time football.

Nah, I just threw that out there for the fun of it. I think yall win that one but it would be hilarious to see the meltdown from all of the battleship mouths on here that would overload their rowboat asses

Keep thinking that Eddie Lacy is better than Michael Ford, I can't wait to bump this thread when he shreds Bama's defense. Oh yeah, I don't overre-act to a game against North Texas's defense. Ford by a mile.

Come on man. Ford may be better, but it is not "by a mile". Take the glasses off and recognize both guys are good backs. I don't think one is significantly better than the other.

RBs don't "shred" a Bama defense. It just doesn't happen. You will be disappointed. Truth.

I think the jury is still out on this until both teams play more games.

I'll say Ford's not by a mile but the fact that Ford has been effective against a MSU and Oregon while Lacy has been effective against North Texas, the most overrated Penn State team ever and....I don't ever remember the 1st team they played. That's sad. I'll take Ford. Not by a mile, admittedly that was wrong, but seeing a ton of people say Lacy is better because he had a good game against fricking North Texas is ridiculous. Also to the guy that said "no one shreds Bama's defense" wait to you see LSU's especially after Richardson and Lacy combine for 120 yards.

At this point, it's undeniable that Ford has faced far better teams than Lacey has. Two of the Tide's first three opponents have yet to win a game. Penn State only won 14-10 over Temple.

Not that it matters but Penn St. turned the ball over like 4 times and missed like 5 fg's today in their win just sayin

Wait until you see LSU's offense, huh? If yall can't put up more than 19 against MSU then good luck against our defense.

And I'm not sure how Lacy's performance this year could be described as "sad".
