By "unchanged" I meant still anemic. The system may have changed, but the results remain the same.
L. Fournette is still a valid call...
As far as anemic, Yea I thought so. Mostly due to Etling not finding receivers. Not sure if this is due to new receiving corps or DB's shining. I expected to see more dink and dunk type passing that did not present itself.

We will be undefeated going into bama game like most years give or take a couple in the lst decade. That's all we can ask for with an offense learning a new system and limitations on our qb play. We will most likely lose to bama but I think with the new style of offense it will be enough to possibly run the table after bama.

They are still tougher than Florida. They didn't cancel their game because of rain in the forecast.

To be fair, we are reminded frequently that this is an LSU site. Usually after an embarrassing LSU moment.

I knew if we waited long enough that we would finally see the random anti-LSU thread started by a Gump that will allow them to put the testicle-shrinking, soul-crushing Clemson loss behind them. Finally.

I will never understand how some fans try to rewrite history.
2016, lost two games before Alabama, including the season opener.
2014, lost to Miss State and Auburn before losing to Alabama.
2013 lost to Georgia and Florida before losing to Alabama.
2012 lost to Florida before losing to Alabama.
2010 lost to Auburn before losing to Alabama.
2009 lost to Florida before losing to Alabama.
2008 lost to Florida and Georgia before losing to Alabama.
2007 lost to Kentucky, but did beat Alabama.
So if you mean like most years in the past decade, I am pretty sure that would mean a loss before getting to Alabama. 80% of the time, you lost a game before the Alabama game.

Meh.
I care enough to spend five minutes on google.
It is just one of those things a lot of LSU fans say that is just not true. Yet, somehow saying it enough somehow makes it seem correct.
Bottom line, it is more unusual than not for LSU to be undefeated heading into the Alabama game. That is not an insult, the SEC is typically a very tough conference.
Somehow, though, some LSU fans see the SEC as a two team race and that is not the case. It is usually Alabama and everyone else trying to knock them off the mountain.
