Into Atlanta with one loss against either Bama or Auburn before the season started, and Coach Richt would have the chance to prove his worth by winning the east at the very least.

Now UF looks to be the dominant team and is in the driver's seat to Atlanta. If Richt loses the cocktail party and fails to win the east, is he gone?

Lol no. UGA can't fire a guy that wins 9+ games consistently.

Yep Georgia sure did prove us wrong....

Nope.... He'll still win 9 or 10 games. And that'll be just enough to keep his job.

Two things:

1. We will not fire Richt. With one more win, he becomes the second all time winningest coach in UGA history.

2. UF has Mizzou and LSU to play before meeting us. Assuming we can get it together and beat UTk and Mizzou on our end, it's very likely that we'll both be 6-1 in Jacksonville. So, to say that anyone is in the driver's seat right now is pretty ridiculous. Hell, we control our destiny same as Florida considering beating them would give us the tie breaker.

He is 9-6 against South Carolina and just beat you by 32 points. Maybe sit this one out, champ.

Historically 6 out of 15 is a high water mark for South Carolina. That's why we hear them all saying "Richt sucks". Same as the Auburn fans (5-9 vs. Richt), Vols fans (4-10 vs. Richt) and Tech fans (2-12 vs. Richt).

I don't see how they could. He consistently wins 9+ games.
