Good teams have guys that shoot well and you sound surprised?

Just take your skulldragging like a man and move on.

As shitty as the rest of the league is finishing 4th should be a breeze.

Well, 9/12 from three in the second half is a surprise no matter what. Either way, just have to file it away and move on when a game like that happens.

No, just surprised Auburn shot 25% from 3. That's very abnormal.

Nah, UF is not the new UK, The few years ago Florida was. The new Florida doesn't have any good point guards. Can't be real good with spastic point guards.

UF has 2 or three games coming up that could easily move them to the shooty list, if the PGs play lousy

Shooting your average you still lose.

Good teams usually play defense too.

I'm just glad Auburn is keeping up the bottom half of the league's RPI higher, so we bubble teams can get the benefit of the doubt come Selection Sunday.

Tide should have never fired Gottfried if y'all wanted to maintain this superiority complex.

It was cool you guys were almost a bubble team last year though, that was great for the state and the conference

It does suck to only have aspirations to be a bubble team. But honestly, 5 games in to the year, I'm not so sure I can even keep those hopes.

Bubble NIT? St Louis is trash and bama should have lost that one.

As turnover prone as you guys are AU will run up and down the court on that arse.

Purdue was unconscious from 3pt territory. Sometimes you just gotta tip your hat to the other guy when everything they throw up hits the bottom of the sack. We're a freshman heavy team so we'll get better from here.

Funny you rip on Alabama fans for being bandwagon basketball fans when quite possibly the biggest bandwagon in either program's history was the two great Cliff Ellis/Chris Porter seasons. Auburn fans before before and since didn't know they had a basketball team. Alabama has historically ranked 4th (behind Kentucky, Tennessee, and Arkansas) in basketball attendance in the SEC the last 25 years. Now you have a team that will finally have a winning season and you're suddenly a basketball expert who is going to lecture Alabama fans about the game...lol.

Enter Avery Johnson and the average attendance of the hangar of Coleman Coliseum jumps by 3,000 from Anthony Grant's last year as there was new energy. Same at Auburn with Pearl. Both programs have bandwagon fans so it's a stupid argument really.

The difference is that Grant was fired with a winning record. Barbee was fired because he was the worst coach in all of college basketball and he ran our program into the ground.

Pearl(even without the gifts) and Avery are both good recruiters.
Pearl can coach as well. Clear upgrade over Barbee. I think Avery has shown he's a better recruiter than Grant, but I still think Ant was a better gameday coach.

an Auburn fan said this

everyone knows that this is a transition year for Bama

we'll win enough to dream about the bubble just to crash like we always do

WE GOT 5 STARS COMIN THO
