probably not
based on what?
I think it's possible. Coleman was a much higher rated recruit and all reports are ridiculously positive right now

I have high opinions of him, but what do they think about Derrick Moncrief?

based on Robinson starting for 3 years and being a top draft pick while Coleman has never started a game

He started for 2. 2012 and 2013.

WR. We lose Javontee Herndon and Julian Horton who both didn't do shite their entire careers. Replace with more talented freshmen.

Possible. But to base it on recruiting rankings and practice reports is asinine. CyKo was a much higher rated recruit than Greg Robinson. G Rob is a much better LT than CyKo. Oline recruiting rankings are hit or miss, and this is coming from a fan of a team that will start a five star left tackle next year. It's hard to tell when an oline will peak. Warmack was a three star.
In terms of practice reports, I'm convinced that Cyrus Jones is a practice warrior because when he sees the field he can't do shite.
When top ten left tackles leave there isn't an immediate upgrade. You'll be lucky to have a plateau.
I agree though with Jake Holland. The replacement has to be better. Who is replacing Chris Davis?

I think he will start. Jonathan Jones had surgery again, and Josh Holsey may switch back to cornerback (he played safety last year before tearing his ACL).

State's is easy- RB
Josh Robinson > LaDarius Perkins
It was an injustice in 2013 to see JRob standing on the sideline and Perkins getting those carries.

No. Lee and Burnette were awesome. Guard play will take a step back, at least early, may finish well though.
No, they were not. They were fat, slow, soft, and inconsistent. Lee looked NFL ready one game and like a Pop Warner backup the next. Those two we average and were not 1/4 of the athletes that Kubs and Pyke are. Massive upgrade at that position and since Lee and Burnette didn't seem to know what they were doing half the time anyway, the youth/experience thing shouldn't be a huge deal. Maybe they take a small step back early, but Kubs played a lot last year so I don't expect much of one.

The only logical decision is Right Tackle, but by proxy.
Because Gates graduated from Left Tackle, that means Theus will move to Left Tackle from Right Tackle. Then Houston moves in to Right Tackle. Houston is a better Right Tackle than Theus was.
So I say Right Tackle.
If you'd said Left Tackle, I'd be 100% on board. Actually having an OT there instead of an OG playing Tackle should be an automatic upgrade. I appreciate the hell of out Gates contributions, but that man is an interior OL and has no business on the edge.
I can't stand Houston though. He isn't even a Tackle, has horrible, slow feet. Even his HS knew that. Just put his arse back on the juice and hope we can sneak it past the NCAA, it is the only way he'll ever be a contributor. Typical Buford guy, let's hope Cardiello breaks that mold.
The sooner that Sims/Baker/any-goddamn-body can replace him, the better off we'll be.
FWIW, I'd love more than anyone to see Kolton prove every word of this wrong, but I've no confidence he can. I'll happily eat my crow if he does though.

Serious choice though, it is OG. Both Right and Left sides.
RG maybe with Pyke, but we can't find a LG right now. We need to because if we don't we're going to have to go with Beard at LT (terrifying) and bump Theus back over to RT so we can put Houston inside.
Kublanow sucked all spring.

You really think a guy just recovered from cancer is about to step in for a possible top 5 draft pick and not miss a beat?

For Florida - QB, and OL.
They lost some good players, but return healthier, and with better depth. It'll be a lot better than last year.
QB they lose murphy, but Driskel should be better in the new offense.

I don't think anyone is saying he's going to be better when he takes his first snap but he has the potential to be.

For USC, it's the RB position...
Jamari Smith, who played as a reserve last season as a true freshman, was moved to the secondary full time for this season. But we'll return starter Davis, #2 Wilds returns healthy, and stud frosh Williams who was red-shirted last season will be active. Also return reserve Carson who had a 100-yd gm vs UF last season....
Also LB will be up there with RB. Lost MLB Cedric Cooper when he was moved to the DE position, but the rest of the depth was very young and learned on the fly last season. Return entire two-deep including Skai Moore who led the defense in tackles despite only starting 4 gms. Also add very talented freshman Bryson Allen-Williams to the depth....

I expect us to make a significant step up in the chest tattoo category at the quarterback position.
