I win five times what I bet, if Bama wins this game, so, I certainly hope the Bama boys can make this game an easy win.

Somehow, something tells me that ND will be a tough out.

Bama has had a tougher overall schedule than ND including playing a soon to be Heisman TAMU QB. Notre Dame has had a tougher road schedule though. ND has had a tough schedule and did not play any FBS schools. This won't be your Daddy's Notre Dame on the field.

I watched the Notre Dame/Stanford game and I was more impressed with their DB's flying to the ballcarrier more so than anything else on that defense. It jumps out at you how well they are at closing on the running game and making the hit.

Bamas wideouts just need to get nasty and put a few licks on them.

ND's offense is exponentially lower scoring than Bama's. I think Bama will be a decided favorite and should win by 2 TD's or more.

Saw a lot of this argument leading up to the Bama-LSU game this year: conventional thinking suggested that Bama would rout LSU because while the defenses seemed equal, Bama appeared to have a significantly better offense. Games aren't played on paper, and we all saw how that game unfolded.

With so much time for both teams to prepare, I think it's really difficult to predict how this game will unfold. While it's interesting to look back on how both teams have performed, I think that most of the stats that are being cited here will have little predictive value in regards to the outcome of this game.

I dislike the way that the Bama Defense does Pass Defense this season. It's deficient. It's weak, when you compare it to the average Saban Pass Defense.

If ND beats Bama, it will be because Bama's Pass Defense is deficient compared to your average Saban Pass Defense.

Alabama's pass defense is vulnerable, but not to just anyone. You either have to have an elite passing offense or a very balanced offense to exploit. If you have an average passing attack and we can shut down the run and play situational defense, it gets ugly.

For that reason, I think we handle Notre Dame rather well. Kansas State may have hurt us, but I don't see Notre Dame scoring on us, and I see them playing stout on defense but not holding us under 27.
