You fools obviously do not do much negotiating. The market base for the Arky job is now set at 5.5 mil

We don't care. We paid Nutt millions to get out of here and liked it

You mean like when we were one game away from playing in the National Championship?

I will change it to a coach that could win at Arkansas. That is a short list that Miles isn't on. Miles is a good coach for LSU, however.

Alright, I agree, Miles is a great coach. And you're right, it would take God himself to win the SEC championship at Arky. Les was smart for not taking that job

I'm going by final rankings and a team that can actually win a decent bowl game. Hard to find at Arky, I know.

41-17 on national TV. Utter humiliation and yet another wake up call for a mediocre program that will for always want to look up at elite programs and wonder, why not us. Why not us. Aaah, the fond memories. Just a sweet goodbye topped only by the laughing stock you became in the offseason.

LSU fans are seem upset that Arkansas was OUTRAGED Les Miles could potentially be the new HC, false or not.

Don't worry losers, you're stuck with him, for even longer and more money now.

The State of Arkansas went, WHEWWW, when Miles got his raise.

Long has already said once he'd pay 6 mill a year if it was the right fit/worth it.

Perks of having the countries top business down the road.

You had JLS last year, and before Petrino you had Houston Nutt. Don't pretend the bottom line is not going to be an issue.

Irrelevant to your point. Our options were VERY limited

Different AD with a "good ol' boy" network. We appeared to have less money than we did

Wtf does that have to do with anything related to this coaching search?

Petrino

Was Top 7 in the country salary wise.

Houston Nutt

Was not Jeff Long, no relevance either.

It never is, we're Arkansas. Or did you forget that? I'm sorry Walmart is the #1 business in the country year after year after year and they're in our back pocket.

Lol @ economics. NWA is a goldmine rookie.

No wonder Arkansas is widely recognized as the most delusional fan base in the SEC.

If it wasn't an issue, Nick Saban would be at Arkansas next year.

Enough to know it's always an issue. Your fan mate doesn't agree. He said it wasn't.

Arkansas isn't going to throw enough money to get anyone they want. There isn't a huge supply of coaches out there worth 3-4 million a year and Arkansas isn't going to pay enough to get any of them.

Arkansas isn't going to come up with the money to get and pay the best in the business. You are absolutely delusional if you think you guys will get a "home run" hire.

Arkansas hasn't made a wrong move yet, and may get the attention of a few more coaches now that the 6 million dollar mark is not too far off.

They have now driven a wedge however small between LSU and Miles with a raise many LSU fans felt was unnecessary just weeks ago.

Still plenty of time to fuk it up. It'll be interesting to see who they make turn them down next.

.......while auburn is still looking thru the yellow pages for their next savior.
