Can the LSU defense slow down the Arkansas offense and not allow the Hogs to eat up the clock?

Will LSU be able to cover the gifted TEs and also cover Morgan, Cornelius, Reed at the WR spot as well?

Alex Collins is also averaging just a hair under 120 yards per game on the ground...Arkansas has a balanced offense with a QB who has played very well this season.

This is the real question of the week. LSUs offense and LF need the ball to wear down the defense, that is how we are succesful running the ball.

Great question; however, that depends on the LSU offense ability to stay on the field and do their part to keep the defense fresh i.e. Alabama game

That's a point...but also consider Arkansas used the Ole Miss' offense ability to hit the big play against them.

IF LSU hits a big LF7 run that happens in 3 plays or less, then the LSU defense is right back on the field. This was a big problem for Ole Miss. The also allowed the Ark offense to eat up clock and wear down the Ole Miss defense.

This is a legitimate concern, I really hope Thompson and mills make a difference in coverage and allow Adams to roam, hopefully we can slow down BA

I'd like to think that Alabama>Arkansas offensively so yeah I believe LSU can slow it down

Maybe since we had some smaller, faster linebackers but I really doubt it overall.

No idea, good question.

I'm already on record as saying I think Arkansas has a great shot at winning this game.

Good question, the LSU defense logged a boat load of minutes last week. I think the LSU offense will be just fine.

I think the winner will have to score 40+ in regulation. JMHO

I doubt we can stop Allen and the short passing game. We were horrible against it last year and have basically the same personnel going up against it this year. We'll have to score 30+ to win.

It's amazing that with such a huge offensive line and some pretty good skill players that Arkie lost to Toledo. They are 5-4. I really like lsu's chances in this game. Unless they come out sleepwalking they should handle Arkie pretty easy.

No they aren't.

This will be a good game and will come down to the wire like usual. You can throw stats, rankings, and talent levels out of the window when it comes to this game.

Who knows? I seriously would not be surprised if we blow them out but it feels like a tight shootout to me. Since the drubbing on 1/9 Miles has lost 3,3 and 5 games. I hope that this year is different but I also was hoping that we stopped offensively game planning like a high school team so what the hell do I know.

no you are successful running the ball because that is all you have so you lean on it more than other teams
