I can't remember a year when I said "Wow, what a great season for punters."

2003 was pretty good. LSU and Tennessee had Donnie Jones and Dustin Colquit, who are still starting punters in the NFL. Auburn had Kody Bliss and Oe Miss had Cody Ridgeway.

Our ambidextrious Aussie rugby style punter will give opponent's return units fits this year.
Too bad he won't get a lot of opportunities to do that.

It's fun for message board folks--many of whom are simply trying to fit in with the madding [dork] crowd--to act like it's "so uncool" for a top-flight punting game/field position to matter.
But a mediocre punter can (and regularly does) mean the difference between a win and a loss.

Brad Wing almost single handedly won our 2011 GOTS because of the field position. Helped us out immensely in 12 too. Keehn is so average it almost hurts. Happy to keep the Aussies flowing but I hope he can improve. If he's third I'm sorry for 4-14
