That started when MSU held CSU to less than 7 yards for 56 minutes. Keep up.

This is true for everyone.

Bama wins? People say well no one has the talent they do so it's expected. In reality I calculated that about 6% of their victories are strongly correlated with referee bias. Bama loses? They beat themselves. Other team got lucky, etc.

Auburn wins? Luckiest football team of all time. Auburn loses? Little brother bet the farm on the Gus bus lols.

Arkansas wins? Literally no one cares.
Arkansas loses? The sad part is they all have to go back home to the state of Arkansas (gross).

Georgia wins? Well they don't win much outside the Fulmer cup. Georgia loses? Les Miles has lost control of UGA.

It's called "the narrative"

What in the hell has LSU done lately seriously?

Put more players in the NFL than any other team.

What's this got to do with college football you ask? Well sit right down you chubby fricker and I'll explain it to you.

What that means is LSU is loaded with talent every year. With that kind of talent, something (or someone) has been holding them back. Perhaps LSU got rid of that something (or someone) last year and now has all the puzzle pieces fitting together. Do we know that for a fact yet? No. But what we do know is that we still have the same level of talent that has managed to whip States arse 18 out of the last 20 times. I like our chances.

What's the point of any of this? Y'all are a ranked team favored over an unranked one. If you win, well, it's entirely true that y'all have more talent and were favored. If MSU wins, well, it's entirely true that they will have accomplished something more impressive as an unranked team beating a ranked one than LSU will have accomplished as a ranked team beating an unranked one. None of this is a conspiracy against LSU. It's basic common sense and would apply to any other two teams in the same positions.

It assumes that the separation between LSU and MSU is other than thin, which the bulldawg faithful will ardently argue and most of the posers on this board will rail should the bulldawgs win at home

Truth is the difference bewteen the two is not close; LSU wins in every metric

The second truth is LSU is a QB away from stomping a mudhole in the arse of the East and most of the West. It's looking better from my view.

You've been here since 2004. You have to know by now that fans on the Rant never misses a chance to troll fans of other teams. LSU isn't an exception. Hell, LSU fans have had a field day trolling TAMU, Arkansas, and Bama every chance they get, and have been giving as much as they get with MSU this last week. Nobody is an innocent victim on the Rant. I've even made a point of ensuring Vandy earns some trolling.

Y'all been saying this since Matt Flynn graduated. Meanwhile the two best quarterbacks to come outta Louisiana in awhile both signed with MSU.

It's like when LSU played Wisconsin last year.

LSU was so bad they dropped us 16 spots from 5th to 21st.

But Wisconsin beat such a good team (by 2 in Wisconsin) that they went from unranked to top 10.

No, when state wins, everyone will talk about how LSU is down and we can only beat teams when they're down. That'll only be after the glorious LSU melt though.

Victims have emasculated their souls

The bulldawgs will strap it on tight and it will be an SEC W game

But LSU won't be handicapped by antiquated predictability

And the talent disparity will be magnified by this, not diminished

Les Miles' whiff. Miles wanted Dak as a TE

We don't have Miles anymore; have you seen the QBs interested in LSU now?

Well losing to State is pretty much proof positive that one of the big boys are down so...

Careful you don't get too caught up in college football recruiting you become Ole Miss. I pay almost zero attention to recruiting till January. Doing so before could result in aids of the eyeballs.

Your LBs are nothing compared to LSUs. LSUs LBs are far superior.

I will see your Jeffrey Simmons and raise you an Arden Key. You have no answer for Key and it's not even close.

Your QB has yet to prove anything against LSU, but you know what, Danny Etling has proved himself against State.

I'd give you Dan Mullen over Orgeron except that Orgeron seems to have been able to put together a staff that can overcome his weaknesses. Dan Mullen has yet to do that. Grantham is not some defensive mastermind. He's alright, but not even in the same league as Aranda. You have Dan Mullen as your OC. You know it, I know it, everybody knows it. We don't know enough about Canada yet to make the call between who is better between those two. Mullen ain't a bad offensive guy. I'll give him that. He still sometimes does stupid shite but hell, all coaches do that sometimes.
