This is how I feel it will play out. Sumlin has one more card to play, and that's bringing in a new OC. Assuming that doesn't pan out I would hope it costs him his job, but we have a fricktard for ad and apparently the only thing he does is not fire coaches.

Personally, I'd love to go steal Herman away after this season, but it won't happen, and this year there will be a ton of open positions at really good programs so it's probably not wise to make a move now anyway.

While a lot of your problems may stem from Spavital, a lot of them also stem from Sumlin. It seems he wants to be friends instead of a coach. He bungled the whole Allen thing. To reward Murray with the starting job after his tirade at Spavital was way over the line. He should have disciplined him and told Kevin Murray to go piss up a stick. If Allen can't play, turn it over to Hubenak and live with the results.

I give Sumlin a pass this year. They will improve defensively in the next two years.

303 total yards and 10 points against Auburn

Either Sumlin's has lost it or Muschamp has us improving

Agree with this, mostly. If Spavital stays I think Sumlin is definitely on the hot seat in '16. But I don't see how he can do that. Plus there are murmurs about the poor dumb bastards at North Texas hiring Spavital as HC.

But I wouldn't tie Sumlin's retention to a specific record. There are too many things that can go wrong.

Yep, Ags aren't happy

I think this game quiets all the noise about Murray for the time being

Sumlin HAS to take control or he is on the hot seat. So he better get Hubenak ready to play.

Allen could play if his shoulder is ok.

Spav is out at seasons end
