I'm hoping one day LSU will field an all-women football team.

if lsu doesnt let her on the field, then the national organization of women blow up lsu with their feminist bs. if lsu lets her play and she misses a couple 40 yard game winners then the N.O.W. blows up the ncaa with their feminist bs demanding a rule change. a 40 yard kick is changed to 20 yards when a female is kicking, then they'll call em equal. things that make you go hmm..........

Dude, you're a moron if you buy into that.

New Mexico had a girl kick for them years ago... Where was the feminist movement as a result?

Will there be a possible backlash? Possibly, but we are a Nc caliber team. We have good reason to turn her down and that reason is depth at the position.

plus les miles is unstable right now, the last thing we need is a female kicker and not knowing what les will do.

listening to too much Rush, homeboy. relax...breath...our nation is not actually being taken over by fire breathing feminazis with marxist agendas. Rush is like Glen Beck...they exaggerate wildly to make a point. They are dangerous not because of what they say...they are dangerous because there are a lot of people just like you that take what they say seriously and completely literally. chill

Would love to see her get a chance, but in all honesty she would be a handicap for the team. Would she be able to tackle someone if needed? She's a pretty girl, and she could get hurt badly.

That was my first thought. I appreciate the fact that she is an athlete and probably much more so than a lot of men. In the interview she made a comment about having several good kickoffs. If you place her on the kickoff team your coverage immediately goes from eleven to ten. Can you imagine Trent Richardson, or someone like him, returning a kick and her being between him and the goal line, she would get crushed.

I think having a female Kick PAT's is kind of cool and she would proabably be great at that.

Oh...one more thing, I would smash that monkey!!!

I got the point. I was just giving an example of a kicker that doesn't blow at tackling.

I don't see the big deal. Alabama did it on 11-5.
