It still looks like MSU is taking another loss this year if that's what you are inferring.

Auburn improving, especially on defense. JH at night is a special place. Will be a long season, but hope springs eternal.

LSU just had a hiccup. Tough atmosphere at night, the OL having a hard time making adjustments and containing Lemonier and Mett showing that he's still green. LSU is still LSU.

Auburn had their back against the wall, and fought back against bubba.

Our left tackle allowed so much pressure it was ridiculous.

Van girder knew it, and threw blitz after blitz at him.

That was a fricking war. Much respect to the plainsmen after that game. They didn't play like that the other games.,

Another easily overlooked fact:

We run a base offense, allowing them to run their base d. They ran a good bit of nickel and dime early in the season because of the teams they faced. They brought in the big boys for the LSU game.

You can't be an honest LSU fan and not give auburn props for playing lights out.

I sat neither. Au got all the fumbles and breaks. Their fans we just awesome. The 2 fumbles caught Au's d on fire. Did not help Mett at all.

LSU had an off game. Au played the game of their life.

If Au had played that way against State, Au would have won.

Same auburn team we've seen this year, just better defense.

LSU is same as they have been. They just didn't get any easy defensive scores. Mett had a poor game.

Auburn is still the same team, they just played inspired ball at their house, in a night game, against the #2 team in the nation, with the season on the line. The defensive game plan was to take advantage of Mett's inexperience, sell out to stop the run, and force Mett to beat the defense. There were 8, 9, 10 guys in the box for Auburn all freaking night. I don't care if you're 1995 Nebraska, 9 times out of 10 you are not going to get through that many guys running straight up the middle.

Auburn's offense looked as anemic as ever. They didn't pass the century mark in total yards until mid-way through the 4th quarter. And the way Auburn played toward the end, it seemed to me they were just trying to keep the game close rather than win it outright.

LSU is terrible- especially at home.

You should be in good shape.

Or, maybe not.

LSU was trying to decide which Tigers they were going to beat last night.
